Manchester City have revealed their 2017/18 Nike away kit ahead of wearing the new design for the first time in Los Angeles. City will strip up in maroon moves when they take on Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup on July 26.

Shot out in Los Angeles to give a sunshine feel to new strip, Manchester City have ensured a relevant launch by leaning on new signings Danilo and Ederson, as well as impressive 17-year-old homegrown midfielder Phil Foden, and rapid attacker Leroy Sane. Dressed head-to-toe in shades of maroon, the City players will be wearing a design that has recurred throughout the club's kits over the years, most notably worn by the 1956 FA Cup and 1968 League Title winning teams.

The shorts and socks of the new Manchester City 2017/18 Nike away strip are also drenched in a maroon mood with a trim in Manchester City’s signature blue. For the first time ever Manchester City will have an official sleeve sponsor next season having taken advantage of new Premier League rules. Korean tyre manufacturers Nexen take their place on the left arm, whilst the right arms reserved for the Premier League badge. Now you know. Blue Maroon, you saw me standing alone...
