Manchester City have unveiled their new Nike home shirt as they aim to successfully defend their Premier League title for the first time. The gold league logo badges return on the sky blue sleeves for when City kick off their domestic campaign against Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley on August 10.

The 2014/15 Manchester City home shirt is obviously sky blue, a simplistic design with not too much to write home about other than the dark blue high cuffs and a V-neck collar with a sky blue triangle beneath it. Inside the back of the neck is a dark blue pennant tab with the bold statement "We are City" in laser blue. The new home shorts are field blue with a thin dark blue stripe along each side, while the socks are field blue with a dark blue band at the top and the word 'City' sat below the Swoosh.

Fans can expect to see the new shirt for the first time when City kick off their pre-season fixtures in Scotland this week before a trip Stateside to take on Sporting Kansas, AC Milan, Liverpool & Olympiacos.
