The Premier League Champions will wear next season's new Nike home strip for the first time tonight as they host Brighton in their final home match of the current campaign at the Etihad Stadium.

After lifting the title at the weekend Manchester City are presented with their new 2018/19 home kit to defend their crown in when they go again in August. To help unveil the kit Nike teamed up with the Club’s foundation, City in the Community (CITC), to give its participants the chance to headline the launch.

CITC participants from the BTEC education programme, KICKS youth outreach football project and players from the amputee and Down syndrome teams took part in an exclusive kit shoot to highlight the important role that the local community has played in City’s success this season.

As with the majority of 2018/19 Nike kits, it's all about those statement shoulders and sleeves. The Man City home shirt is drenched in customary City blue, with dark blue speed blur stripes across the arms and shoulders. A V-neck with button detail makes the collar which hosts the words "Blue Moon" inside it. Navy socks return to pay tribute to the kit which City wore when they first won the league in 1937, and white shorts complete the look.
