This year sees Fulham Football Club celebrate its 140th anniversary since its foundation in 1879, and to celebrate that milestone the club have launched a limited edition anniversary shirt which will be worn in a pre-season fixture this summer.

Fulham FC headed back to their birthplace this week for a celebration event at Fulham St. Andrew’s church, a place where 140 years ago when Revd. John Henry Cardwell set up a Sunday school team. It was here where they unveiled their special edition adidas kit – a twist on the design of the Club’s first-ever strip.

Members of Fulham FC Foundation’s programmes - including the Fulham Badgers and Walking Football teams - were joined by members of Fulham FC’s Men’s, Women’s and Academy sides to model the new 140 Years Anniversary Shirt which features a 140 Years crest. Only a limited number – 1,879 shirts – have been produced, each individually numbered and certificated to mark their exclusivity. Fulham should be commended for keeping the price down to £65 too. Top work, chaps.
