Coming together for the fight against a common cause, Umbro have united their Brazilian roster in a uniform pink look to raise awareness of Breast Cancer, with part of the proceeds from the sales of the shirts being passed to Femama, the Brazilian Federation of Philanthropic Breast Health Support Institutions.

Football by its very nature creates rivalries, but it also has the power to unite when there is a greater cause. That is evident with Umbro’s latest initiative in Brazil, where the British-based brand have dressed out their full roster – Avai, Chapecoense, Fluminense, Gremio, Santos, Athletico Paranaense and Sport Recife – in uniform pink shirts for “Pink October”, raising awareness of Breast Cancer and supporting the work to fight against it.

Umbro recently launched special third shirts for its Brazilian contingent, celebrating 125 years of football in the country, and now they turn their attention to another important cause, uniting the teams once more for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The design sees a sublimated diamond pattern through the body of the shirt, while each one is trimmed in the respective club’s colours, popping through a line across the chest, down the sleeves and through the Umbro branding.
