Ready for a debut in this weekend’s game against Girona, Barcelona have just unveiled their new 22/23 fourth kit from Nike. The jersey pays tribute to the club's roots, featuring the Catalan senyera flag on the chest and taking inspiration from the captain's armband.

Having been using the same Senyera-inspired kit for the last three seasons, with it featuring in four calendar years, it feels about time that Barcelona’s fourth kit got an update, and Nike have duly obliged, supplying the Catalan’s with a new look that still draws inspiration from senyera flag. The design sees the club crest and four horizontal red stripes across the chest over a yellow background, while the sleeves also feature trim in Barça colours.

The jersey is set to be worn for the first time for a competitive game this Saturday during the Catalan derby between the men's first team and Girona FC at Montilivi, while Barça Women will don the shirt in Tenerife on Sunday. The basketball team will also wear it against Bàsquet Girona on Saturday.

Barcelona has always maintained its connection with its Catalan roots, and fittingly, one of the most iconic representations of Catalan architecture, La Pedrera -–Casa Milà, was chosen as the backdrop for the photoshoot.
