Ready to try and dethrone their bitter rivals, Rangers have unveiled their new home kit for the 23/24 season from Castore. The design nods to the kits of the early 80s with a subtle tonal pinstripe effect.

Rangers put up a good fight in this seasonโ€™s Scottish Premiership, but they just fell short when looking to derail their neighbours and biggest rivals, Celtic. And so, as is often the case with football, that campaign is in the history books and attention turns to the next season, marked by the release of the clubโ€™s new 23/24 home shirt from Castore.

A simple yet traditional design, the shirt arrives in royal blue with white-and-red trim on the overlapping v-neck collar. Itโ€™s a subtle but effective flourish, sitting nicely on top of the subtle, tonal pinstripes that run throughout the body โ€“ a nod to the iconic home shirt that was used from 1982 to 1984. The branding, sponsor and club crest all stand out in white.

The kit will likely get its debut when Rangers welcome Newcastle to Ibrox on 18 July, followed by their long-standing partner club Hamburger SV on 22 July.
