Mizuno have dropped a completely new silo as they build up their boot line-up. The Basara 001 weighs just 175g and enters the market as the brand's synthetic speed silo.

Tech wise the Basara 001 features a lightweight, soft and supple Primeskin upper. Renown for creating the highest quality leather boots Mizuno are showing their versatility by offering an alternative from the Morelia Neo and extending their reach.

The sole-plate uses specifically placed traction control studs for performance at speed and an R-Fiber Control upper is used to reduce excess stretching and to securely hold the foot. Japan international Shinji Okazaki has already been spotted in the Mizuno Basara and is penned in to wear them throughout the World Cup.

Mizuno, being the kings of comfort have also released the boot in a soft kangaroo leather version, they just couldn't resist. The bright yellow/black launch colourway will be available from July 1st.
