Adidas have followed up the launch of their next generation Nitrocharge with a bolder Infrared/Metallic Silver/Running White secondary colourway that drops just in time for the new season.

Although still officially labelled as the adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 the new generation boot introduces a series of updated technologies from the previous debut edition, headlined by a redesigned Energy Sling, the Nitrocharge's trademark feature. If you like your boots a bit fruitier than the Black/Metallic Silver/Solar Gold colourway then adidas have sorted you out here.

Some description

The Nitrocharge was revealed as the brand's newest silo in May 2013 and was marketed at the box-to-box midfielder, the team's "engine" and it's these players who have provided the feedback that's inspired the alterations. The Energy Sling has been moved in line with the re-positioned Three Stripes and enlarged to provide more support to players when changing direction whilst remaining locked into the boot.

Some description

The updated Energy Sling is joined by highly durable Kevlar mesh towards the back of the boot, which offers extra protection whilst keeping weight down to a minimum. The Energy Pulse technology is retained to provide high energy output when you push off from your toes. The toe-box has also been tweaked with a stripped back design to create a smoother, cleaner look that sees f50-esque grip texture to aid dribbling and touch replace the chunky first-gen padding.

The new “Infrared/Metallic Silver/Running White” adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 is available from today at selected adidas stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer.
