The adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 dumps tech in favour of k-leather, taking its place in the limited edition adidas "Pure Leather" pack.

The adidas Nitrocharge gets its place in the limited edition “Pure Leather Pack” with a plush kangaroo leather as the obvious main ingredient. Stripped of its two key features - the ‘EnergySling’ and protection pads - the latest iteration remains loosely based on the second generation Nitrocharge model but offers a new take on adidas’ most recent silhouette.

The boots feature an all-over Kangaroo leather upper from toe to heel, replacing the Hybridtouch material used on the standard Nitrocharge 1.0 editions. The upper utilises a K-Leather upper to offer what all leather boots are known for - astonishing comfort and feel. In the Nitrocharge, this is achieved using lateral stitching to lock the forefoot down during cutting movements and an embroidery cage for ultimate heel support. The only familiar features that remain are the SprintFrame and EnergyPulse elements on the underside of the boot.

Like all three boots in the “Pure Leather Pack”, the Nitrocharge 1.0 gets a gold stamp of approval across the heel and insole. Just 500 pairs of the Nitrocharge “Pure Leather” boots will be dropping worldwide, so if you’re looking to cop a pair you better move quick - they definitely won’t find themselves in the January sales!

The adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 "Pure Leather" is available from selected adidas stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. What's the verdict? Drop us a line in the comments.
