We take an exclusive closer look at the Mercurial Superfly IV BHM, launched as part of Nike’s 2015 Black History Month Collection.

Just two weeks into the new year and Nike are already on a special edition assault. The Mercurial Superfly IV has dropped twice since the turn of the year, both in spectacular style. Alongside the super-exclusive CR7 “Rare Gold” boot, the Nike Mercurial Superfly IV BHM has also made an early claim for the hottest limited edition of the year.

The Nike Mercurial Superfly IV BHM dropped last week as part of Nike’s cross-category "Black History Month" collection, which included 28 items all featuring a black and white palette and mix of three different prints. Kevin Prince Boateng is championed by Nike as the inspirational figure behind the Mercurial Superfly IV BHM; whether he will wear them in competitive action remains to be seen. The special edition Superfly IV boots feature the new BHM print across the upper along with a gold outlined Nike Swoosh.

The Nike Mercurial Superfly BHM will be available exclusively through the Nike Soccer app on Thursday, January 29.
