Under Armour are quickly nailing 2015 down as their breakthrough year in the European football market with their most complete silo yet and a headline player in Memphis Depay to carry the logo into the Premier League. Adding another weapon to the Speedform armoury Under Armour introduce a "Leather" option in a colourway that compliments the traditional feel.

Inspired by the blackout prototype worn by Memphis when he first signed with the brand Under Armour have launched the Speedform using a synthetic leather replacement that replicates the natural feel of K-leather and feels almost identical to it. Under Armour are calling the new material "wallaroo" and it's created to mirror the benefits of soft leather but without over-stretching and absorbing water which natural leather is prone to.

Some description

The matching black soleplate is a trait that players will welcome as the Speedform lands with a complete stealth vibe barring the projected Under Armour logos on the tongue, lateral and medial sides. Other than the change in upper material the Leather Speedform is much the same as the synthetic edition with an articulated toe box, lightweight chrome sole-plate and seamless heel cup. Clean and modern design disguised in a beautiful old-school suit of darkness. Yeah, we're liking these.

The Under Armour Speedform Leather is available at select stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer.
