With the shock of the launch colourway succeeding with the strongest possible impact on and off pitch, adidas roll out a secondary update for their 2016 ACE 16.1 model.
The "Solar Green" edition achieved the goal of maximum on-pitch and online visibility to mark the introduction of the ACE 16.1, but now adidas have laid a crowd pleasing card on the table in the form of the understated "Black/Metallic Silver/Solar Gold" edition. 
Using the same colour combination as the recent Women's ACE 16.1 Primeknit, adidas have juggled the paint pots to supply a predominantly black boot with "Metallic Silver" stripes and "Solar Gold" finishing. No laceless treatment for this colour-up, but it does land in a Primeknit and leather version, as well as the synthetics featured here.
