The Stellar Pack visits the dark side of the moon as adidas lay down their Three Stripes on black leather editions of the ACE 16.1 and X 16.1 silos. Taking a traditional approach to design, the ACE and X are quilted in premium k-leather wraps. Plush.
Flipping the colour combination of the Stellar Pack, adidas have created a more reserved design that offers an alternative leather feel. When it comes to on-pitch appearances, adidas will guide the vast majority of their players into the white Stellar Pack boots, although a number of players who have worn previous leather editions, including Manchester United's Ashley Young have copped a pair to sport on-pitch.
The subtle Stellar Pack graphics feature on the out-step of the ACE 16.1 Leather, on a colourway that is exclusive to the adidas leather line-up. For players hoping to get their hands on this combination in either Purecontrol or Purechaos editions will be left disappointed, lo-cut leathers only here. The first time adidas have released an exclusive pack of sort on the second generation X and ACE boots.
