Celebrating 20 years of partnership with the Premier League, Nike re-launch the limited-edition Geo Merlin ball, an exact recreation of the first Nike ball to be used in the Premier League back in the 2000/01 season.

2019/20 will be the 20th Premier League season for which Nike has supplied the match ball, and to celebrate, the Swoosh is re-releasing its first-ever Premier League ball, the Geo Merlin. Billed at the time as the roundest, fastest, most accurate ball ever, 992 goals were scored using it during the 2000/01 season. More for the mantelpiece this one then, you're not going to be wanting to kick it around down the park.

Designed as a like-for-like remake of the original, the re-released Nike Geo Merlin features Dynamic Support Structure to keep the ball in shape when struck, high-solid polyurethane and polyethelene foam to provide responsiveness and vulcanized latex rubber to create a ‘trampoline’ effect returning impact energy. Set to celebrate the 20 year partnership between Nike and the Premier League, only 600 units of the limited-edition Geo Merlin will be released globally, so if you fancy this as a talking point in the lounge, best be quick.
