With the 22/23 season well and truly wrapped up, Nike turn attention to the 23/24 season with the reveal of the new Premier League Flight match ball.

To coincide with the 2023/24 Premier League fixtures being released, we get our first look at the new match ball for the 23/24 season. The Nike Flight Premier League ball will enjoy its first competitive action when the Premier League returns on the weekend of 11 August, and will be in action competitively for the first time when Vincent Kompany's newly promoted Burnley welcome champions Manchester City to Turf Moor. The design sees a traditional white base joined by an overlaid orange graphic, with the contrasting black band winding its way across the surface, aiding the vision and recognition of the ball when in motion.

The aesthetic design of the ball is inspired by the diversity of over 121 nationalities represented in the league. Each player’s nation is called out with coordinates printed within the iridescent ink that runs across the ball's surface.

Tech-wise it's as you were, so it still boasts AerowSculpt technology as its primary technology, which promotes air movement around the ball rather than gripping its surface, reducing wobble for a more predictable and consistent flight. It also gives the ball the unique look that it has. In addition, the Flight ball also repurposes Nike All Conditions Control (ACC) 3D ink, using the 3D ink layout to strategically print “micro flaps” along Nike AerowSculpt. So there you have it.
