Ramping up club appeal and providing options for off-pitch strides, Nike launch the Epic React Flyknit 2 sneaker in three colour variations a-piece for both Chelsea and Tottenham. The options are available as they are or you can get creative with them via Nike’s custom site, Nike By You.
Following the launch of the Nike x Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona Epic React Flyknit 2 sneakers, we asked the question if Nike would be offering similar options for its other clubs. Well the answer to that is a resounding yes, with both Tottenham and Chelsea getting three colour options. That’s one more than PSG and Barca got, but hey, who’s counting?
First up, Chelsea get a home variant, decking out the upper in the classic Chelsea blue with white accents. The away-inspired sneaker takes the yellow of Chelsea's alternate strip, but places that on a white base, avoiding what would likely be an all too bright affair. Finally, the third version inverts the home look, much like away kits of the past and most recently used in the 2017-18 season, with a white canvas accompanied by flashes of blue.
Next, Tottenham get a blue upper on the white React outsole, flipping the traditional white shirt and blue shorts look of Spurs home kits. The away sneaker uses the turquoise and navy colouring of the current away kit on a white base, while the third option features accents of purple from the 2017-18 third kit.
All sneakers are fully customisable on the Nike By You site, with options to alter team colours, add special graphics and even add personal messages, enabling you to craft your own personal masterpiece that’s completely unique to you.
