Tottenham Hotspur continue to stride towards a top four finish this season with the new stadium up and running and looking frankly fantastic. And now you can walk in Spurs’ footsteps. Well, sort of at least, as Nike have released the Spurs Epic React Flyknit 2 in three variations. Here we take a closer look at our favourite.

Game day, and while you may not want to show off your team colours in the traditional way, you want it to be known where your loyalty lies. Equally, you want to be comfortable on your feet as you traverse from feature bar to feature bar in the east and west stands of the new White Hart Lane, waiting for your pint glass to fill up from the bottom. Well, you’re in luck, friend: Nike have provided the option to fully customise the Epic React Flyknit 2 with a bespoke look reserved for Spurs fans.

The Epic React Flyknit 2 is designed for comfort, and that’s applicable whether you’re going for a run or if you’re just on your feet for a prolonged period. It’s thanks to the durable Nike React technology underfoot that defies logic by being both ultra-soft and responsive, offering the smoothest of rides. For the sneaker we’re focusing on here, the React outsole is presented in solid black, standing out in stark contrast to the white flyknit upper. The Swoosh, laces and club crest on the tongue take on a bold purple look that’s been inspired by the 2017/18 third kit. Nike have also rolled out club editions for Barcelona, PSG & Chelsea.

But it doesn’t have to be like this. No, because this is a Nike By You product (formerly Nike iD), so you’re free to personalise this shoe to your heart’s content. Don’t fancy the purple accents and want something less standout? No problem. Or maybe you just want to add COYS, to the heel. Either way, it’s a blank canvas on which you are free to do as you wish. Smart little pre-season gym runners, these.
