Konami have dropped a new trailer for Pro Evolution Soccer 2020, and with it comes the news that Barcelona have renewed their Global Partnership agreement with the Japanese gaming conglomerate, meaning Messi will appear on the cover of the new edition of PES.

The renewed partnership between FC Barcelona and Konami will run for a further four years, and that news coincides with the worldwide presentation of PES 2020, the latest edition of the game. As a result of the deal, KONAMI advertising will appear both inside and outside of the Camp Nou, and the company will have access to the players, will benefit from visibility on match days and is granted exclusive rights to recreate the Barça stadium in PES 2020.

Along with the Camp Nou, PES 2020 will also feature Estadio Alberto J. Armando, aka La Bombonera, the Emirates, El Monumental and Allianz Parque, all captured and recreated in stunning high quality thanks to high performance 3D scanning tech.

The game itself offers a raft of new features, including finesse dribbling, which was created with the help of Andres Iniesta for a more authentic and immersive experience, realistic portrayals of player errors and all new first-touch techniques, while Master League introduces a brand new interactive dialogue system that gives you more control than ever over your Club’s development. And it doesn’t stop there. There will also be a digital Legend edition that features Ronaldinho as its lead star.

PES 2020 will be available on 10 September, and you can pre-order it now.
