Teaming up with Marvel comic book artist and 'Toffees' fan Wil Sliney, Umbro have launched the 15/16 Everton third kit with a bespoke comic book style piece of art.

Enlisting the help of Wil who is usually more familiar with drawing the likes of Spider-Man, the brand have launched a kit that is in itself, a fresh addition to the history books. For the first time in Everton’s history, green is used as the main colour of the outfield strip and has been teamed with a bright orange to give the Toffees a distinct look away from Goodison Park.

Some description

Featuring many of the Everton stars, Wil Sliney has created a truly unique front cover to launch the kit as the club prepares to go to battle ahead of the new season. Commenting on the collaboration, Wil explains, “I've been drawing Everton players as well as comic book superheroes for as long as I can remember. There was always a Duncan Ferguson or a Tony Cottee on the fridge next to Spider-Man and Wolverine, so to be invited to be part of this new kit launch is a great honour for me.”

One hell of a way to celebrate the art of football, the Everton third kit is available to pre-order from 1st august and goes on sale from 26th August.
