Hull City are the next club on Umbro’s roster to receive a stunning bespoke home shirt for the 2019/20 season, and this one comes dripping with throwback appeal thanks to a design that harks back to shirts from the 90s.

In a move away from the predominantly striped jerseys that have been seen in recent years, the design of the new Hull City 2019/20 home shirt from Umbro gives a nod to the infamous ‘tiger skin’ shirts worn between 1992 and 1995. Rather than going for the all-over print of those gnarly shirts, the 19/20 design opts for a graphic that settles across the upper front portion and shoulders. Also featured is the Club’s new crest, which has been introduced following a supporter-led redesign process, while the back of the shirt hosts a ‘Tigers’ sign-off just below the round collar.

We’re sure this new shirt will prove popular with supporters as we go for something a little different to previous years," said Natasha Chapman, Brand Manager for Hull City. Absolutely damn right Natasha, this is stunning piece of work that has clawed the shirt and clawed Umbro back to the very top of the replica game. Glorious.

Umbro are continuing to knock it out of the park ahead of the 2019/20 season, with this shirt following quickly after the release of the stunning PSV 19/20 away shirt. Keep those delicious Double Diamond dishes coming, we're all over it.
