PUMA celebrate Marseille’s win of the inaugural Champions League in 1993 with the launch of a special edition fourth jersey. The shirt will debut in Marseille's final home game of the Ligue 1 season against Brest on 27 May.

The Champions League started life back in 1993, and it was Olympique Marseille that took the glory in that inaugural competition, beating AC Milan 1-0, and in doing so becoming the first French club to win the European Cup. It was also their first-ever European trophy, so kind of a big deal all round, really. Celebrating that feat, PUMA has produced a new fourth shirt, which places all emphasis on that significant star that sits above the club crest.

That emphasis is achieved through the dominating blue star graphic, which radiates out from the star above the crest that represents the club’s triumph in the Champions League. The base of the shirt is white, and the overall look is complemented by a silver-printed club crest, PUMA logo and sponsor. The kit will be worn in Marseille’s final home game of the 22/23 season, against Brest on 27 May.
