Taking their existing lifestyle partnership into the world of football, PUMA and Porsche release the special edition King Platinum ‘911 Legacy’, which features a striking red and white colourway alongside nods to the iconic car.

The Porsche 911 was first introduced in September 1964, and it has since gone on to be one of Porsche’s most famous and successful. Now that legacy is combined with the equally impressive history of one of the most famous boots in the world: the PUMA King, which was first launched four years later, in 1968. The PUMA King Platinum ‘911 Legacy’ is limited to 911 pairs and it takes a clean design in 'Poppy Red' and white, one of the iconic colours of the Porsche 911.

Following in the footsteps of the Ultra SL x Rimac, PUMA continue their long line of collaborations with motorsports, adding Porsche to the likes of BMW, Ducati and Ferrari. The PUMA x Porsche Legacy collection is an authentic lifestyle line that revolves around the fast-paced, never-quit life of a Porsche Turbo driver, and that vibe is carried straight across into the King Platinum ‘911 Legacy’. The link with speed could’ve easily seen this collab splashed across the Ultra, but seeing as that only recently had the Rimac redo, it seems only fair that they went down the legacy route with the King.

Along with the classic red colouring, the boot design features nice nods to the 911 – not least the ‘911’ numbering on the heel, which is joined by the ‘Porsche’ wording on the outstep. The fit is enhanced with a snug knitted tongue and the ultra-modern slim silhouette combined with the super lightweight ‘RAPIDSPRINT’ outsole make the PUMA King Platinum 911 Legacy the fastest and lightest PUMA King ever.
