Olympique Marseille have always shared a strong link with Africa, and that bond has given birth to the ‘OM Africa’ programme, that’s entirely dedicated to fans from the African continent. And in support of it, the club have launched three vibrant lifestyle jerseys.

For several decades the links between Olympique de Marseille and Africa have been very strong. Many players from Africa have worn, are wearing (and will wear) the Olympian jersey with success, including the likes of Abedi Pelé, Taye Taiwo, Didier Drogba, Djamel Belmadi, Mamadou Niang, Habib Beye, Souleymane Diawara, Stéphane Mbia. These players have allowed Marseille to increase its notoriety in the Maghreb but also in Western Africa, and therefore, in 2019, Olympique de Marseille created "OM Africa", a vast program entirely dedicated to its fans from the African continent.

For a week, Olympique de Marseille will wear the colours of the African continent to promote the OM Africa label, with PUMA creating three vibrant lifestyle shirts in support. The shirts all have the same template, but with three separate colour combinations, utilising white, black, red, green and yellow.

For more than a year, OM fan clubs have sprung up all over Africa, three OM Schools have been created and several events have taken place to celebrate the strong and emotional links between OM and Africa. Now, Olympique de Marseille has decided to dedicate a whole week to OM Africa and OM fans in Africa with exclusive content, numerous gifts to be won and surprises, with the highlight of this week being the Rennes match at the Orange Vélodrome.
