Sergio Agüero moved into his signature evoSPEED 1.3 at the weekend as he joined Reus, Balotelli and Fabregas as PUMA's latest player to receive the exclusive treatment. Agüero, whose boots were inspired by his first club Independiente, only wore his 'Kun' limited edition boots for the first half as Man City fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to an impressive Arsenal side.
Alex Song (West Ham) Pantofola d'Oro Lazzarini
Alex Song continued to mix up his boots at the weekend by switching into the classic Pantofola d'Oro Lazzarini. Song has already worn PUMA Kings and Nike Magista Obras this season but his latest choice was in favour of the luxury Italian leather brand and their beautifully hand made Lazzarini silo.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
If you haven't heard Cristiano Ronaldo won a consecutive Ballon d'Or last week and was rewarded by Nike with an exclusive pair of Mercurial Superfly CR boots complete with encrusted micro-diamonds on the 'CR7' branding. Ronaldo wore them twice this week, firstly against Atletico in the Copa del Rey and more recently on Sunday in Real Madrid's 3-0 victory over Getafe, with the main man scoring in both games of course.
Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) New Balance
New Balance's official unveiling creeps ever closer as Aaron Ramsey gave us a first glimpse at what could be something similar to a launch colourway for their mystery boot. Whereas all other New Balance players remained in the whiteout and blackout boots Ramsey was sporting the same boot with a bright orange soleplate and laces.
Jasur Khasanov (Uzbekistan) Nike CTR360 Maestri III
Uzbekistan's Jasur Khasanov whipped out a pair of Nike CTR360 Maestri III launch colourway boots this week. The third generation CTR, still missed by many players, was released in Khasanov's Sonic Yellow/Black colourway in July 2012 and was only replaced by the Magista series in the spring of last year.
Alex Kenyon (Morecambe) adidas Predator Instinct Mania
The adidas Revenge Pack has proved too good not to be worn on pitch. Most limited edition releases are kept by collectors in cabinets but pro players have been getting hold of the collection to sport on-pitch with Morecambe's Alex Kenyon the latest player to be spotted in the nostalgic adidas Predator 2002 Mania versions, complete with glorious elasticated tongue.

Another Morecambe player to catch our eye against Cheltenham at the weekend was Jack Redshaw who has created a slick pair of White/Orange Nike Tiempo Legend V boots. Not the most experimental colourway you'll ever see from a NikeiD boot but nevertheless a tidy looking paint job that stands out for the right reasons.

The Africa Cup of Nations always throws up a selection of wild boot spots and Jonathan Pitroipa didn't disappoint for Burkina Faso at the weekend. Pitroipa was wearing a custom off-gold Mercurial Superfly IV paint job with black Swooshes for a complete stand-out look on pitch at the world's most vibrant football tournament.
Gareth Bale (Real Madrid) adidas F50 adizero
Gareth Bale was amongst a number of high-profile adidas players who jumped the embargo gun at the weekend. The new-generation adidas F50 adizero is set for an official launch this week but Bale and Benzema both switched into the debut Solar Red colourway as Real Madrid hammered Getafe on Sunday.
Mauricio Pinilla (Atalanta) Umbro GeoFlare
Chilean striker Mauricio Pinilla is continuing to rep the Umbro brand in Serie A this season. Pinilla left the San Siro with 3 points and a clean pair of Snow Camo Umbro GeoFlare boots after his side beat AC Milan 1-0 in their own backyard.
Hasan Al Haydos (Qatar) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV
Another custom Mercurial Superfly IV colourway knocking around this week was Hasan Al Haydos' simplistic two-toned black and white boots with corresponding laces. A no nonsense colourway no too dis-similar to the Stealth Pack collection launched by Nike in July 2014.
Martín Demichelis (Manchester City) adidas 11Pro
Martín Demichelis gave the new White/Solar Blue adidas 11Pro an early debut too on Sunday. The Manchester City defender's new colourway is an almost perfect match-up with the Man City home kit but what Demichelis had in style was overshadowed by his side's poor performance at home to Arsenal.
Allan Nyom (Granada) Nike Magista Opus
Granada's Allan Nyom has joined the custom black-out family by disguising his Nike Magista Opus boots with a black pen in what must be in hope for an official contract with the brand. The "Hyper Turquoise/White/Laser Orange" Magista colourway only identifiable by the bright blue heel that compliments the colours of Nyom's Granada kit.
